Havana Tabacos (Havana + Cigar Factory)

First on the program is the guided tour of a hand-made cigars factory where you will learn about the manufacturing process. You will then do a walking tour through the historical center of Colonial Havana (a.k.a Havana Vieja or Old Havana), declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, and where you will pass by many old plazas (such as: Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza Vieja, Plaza San Francisco de Asis and Plaza de Armas).

You will have free time to do some shopping or continue to wander the cobbled streets of Old Havana. Next is a visit to the Rum Museum where a specialized guide will teach you about the manufacturing process and you will get the chance to do some tastings.

After lunch you will do a panoramic tour through the Metropolitan and Modern Havana and see the Vedado and Miramar neighbourhoods, the Parque Central, Museum of the Revolution, the Grand Theatre, and make a photo stop at the Plaza de la Revolucion (with its surrounding buildings such as José Martí Memorial, The National Library, Ministries of Internal Affairs and Communication).
