Guama - Playa Larga (Bay of Pigs)

This full-day excursion will take you on a journey through the beautiful Cuban countryside of the Matanzas province down south to the Zapata Peninsula which is the largest wetlands of the Caribbean. You will visit there the Guama Tourist Center where you will do a speedboat ride on Treasure Lake and visit a full-scale replica of a Taino Indian village and learn about the life of the indigenous people when Christopher Columbus discovered the island in 1492.

You will also visit a nearby crocodile breeding farm which is considered to be one of the largest in America, and where you will get the chance to learn more about those reptiles and get close and personal with them. After lunch you will continue on to the Bay of Pigs (Bahia de Cochinos) where you will enjoy some beach time at Playa Larga.
